GUWAHATI: The Manas National Park and Tiger Reserve will reopen for tourists from October 2.
The UNESCO national heritage site was partially closed during the monsoon season from May and was fully closed from June of this year.
Talking to G Plus, Vaibhav C Mathur, Field Director, Manas Tiger Reserve said, “The national park will reopen on October 2. The opening will not be delayed. With the monsoon season coming to an end, new seasonal flowers will be seen blooming in the park.”
Meanwhile, earlier the authorities of The Kaziranga National Park said that it will also re-open for tourist from October 2. This was stated by the MK Yadav, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden, Assam.
