GUWAHATI: In a strange incident, a man from Assam has accused his wife of participating in a 'Miss' beauty pageant.
The husband named Dani Ravi, who is a resident of ONGC Colony, Sivasagar has stated that his wife has participated in a beauty pageant under the Miss category held on 12 November 2020 in Sivasagar, Assam.
G Plus spoke to Dani Ravi who stated that "it is her fault that she has participated." Ravi maintained that since their divorce has not been granted, she is ineligible for the Miss category.

As per the husband, they got married on 24 April, 2019 and it was on 5 June, 2020 when her wife had left.
G Plus spoke to the associated production house whose organizers claimed to be unaware of the matter.
"The girl didn't tell us anything, if she was Mrs we would have asked them to fill up a different form," the Proprietor of the production house told G Plus.
The company has now asked the husband to talk to the company's legal advisor regarding the situation. Meanwhile, the husband has also sent a marriage certificate proving his claim.
G Plus spoke to the woman to ascertain her view of the situation. She acknowledged that there is a "case ongoing with her husband." On the issue of her marital status, she told G Plus "I can't inform".
