GUWAHATI: The Home (A) Department of the Assam government, on Wednesday, February 17, announced a major reshuffle in the Assam Police.
As per orders by the Governor, KV Singh Deo, Tilok Das, APS, Dy. Superintendent of Police (DSB), Lakhimpur is transferred and posted as Dy. Superintendent of Police (HQ), Sadiya.
Karuna Kanta Das, APS, Dy. Superintendent of Police (DSB) Kokrajhar is transferred and posted as Dy. Superintendent of Police, CID (Re-Organization), Assam, Guwahati.
Bhaskar Ojha, APS, Asstt Commandant, 11th APBn., Dergaon is transferred and posted as Dy. SP (DSP) Kokrajhar.
James A. Songate, APS, Asstt. Commandant, 1st APBn., I.igiripukhuri, Sivasagar is transferred and posted as Dy. Superintendent of Police (DSB), Karimganj.
Hari Charan Pathak, APS, Dy. Superintendent of Police (DSB), Nalbari is transferred and posted as Dy. Superintendent of Police, CID (HQ), Assam, Guwahati.
Putul Ch. Baishya, APS, Dy. Superintendent of Police, 15th AP (IR) Bn., Eraligool, Karimganj is transferred and posted as Dy. Superintendent of Police, (DSB), Nalbari with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Hari Charan Pathak, APS who has been transferred.
