GUWAHATI: A holiday in Assam for the state government employees has been declared on August 24 instead of August 23, as mentioned in the earlier order.

This notification comes as of a corrigendum on August 21, which states that “Please read the following on account of ‘Tirubhav Tithi of Sri Sri Madhabdev’ already notified vide this department’s earlier notification no.221561/11 dated November 2, 2023, which now states the holiday as August 24, 2024 instead of August 23, 2024 on a Saturday (2nd Bhadra instead of 1st).”
