GUWAHATI: Assam Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that as many as 4,690 persons entered Assam after the state borders were opened on May 3 till date.
Breaking down the tally the minister stated that 4,060 entered via Srirampur and 630 via Boxirhat. Further, 6,412 entered from other northeastern states which are basically Green Zones.
All the persons have been thoroughly examined out of which 18 tested positive. People who tested negative were sent to home quarantine. Further, till now 1,982 people discharged from camp for home quarantine, out of 4,690 from other states.
