GUWAHATI: Golaghat district police have arrested four people for allegedly killing a leopard and eating its meat.
According to reports, Golaghat's divisional forest officer said that the leopard was killed on April 17 and those who killed it had a made a video of it.
The video went viral on social media following which their arrest procedure was initiated made on April 18.

It is to be mentioned that the hind legs of the animal had been chopped away and its skin, tail, claws and teeth were missing.
The carcass was found buried in a forested area in Ahomgaon village.
Forest officials identified the accused and arrested them on April 22. The names of the accused are Junmon Gogoi, Raktim Gogoi, Thagiram Gogoi and Nitya Nand Saikia.
