GUWAHATI: Assam Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that as many as 3,597 persons entered Assam starting from May 3 till date.
Breaking the tally the minister stated that 3255 entered via Srirampur and 342 via Sagolia. Further, 3705 entered from other northeastern states.
All the persons have been thoroughly examined; all tested negative as of now except one. Steps are being taken to send them from institutional to home quarantine.
