GUWAHATI: Monoj Debnath from Dibrgarh, Assam has won the silver medal at the Asian Arm Wrestling Cup, 2024 held in Mumbai from October 20 to October 26.

The event was held at Aurika Hotel And Resort, in Andheri, Mumbai under People Arm Wrestling Federation and Asian Arm Wrestling. Around 15 contestants from various Asian countries participated in the competition along with India.
Debnath participated in the Senior Men(75 kg) category clinching in silver in right hand.
Talking to GPlus, Monoj Debnath said, “It was a terrific experience overall competing among so many international athletes and winning the silver. I am focussed next on the National Selections for Indian team in January 25 which will take place in Dehradun.”
