GUWAHATI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a weather forecast on Saturday, November 22, indicating light rainfall across several Northeastern states, including Assam.

On November 22, rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, but foggy weather may form in pockets across all the states even with steady temperatures.
November 23 may bring some changes, with thunderstorms expected in Assam and isolated locations of Meghalaya, Manipur, and Mizoram.
By November 24, light rainfall may spread to parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, and Mizoram, while Nagaland and Tripura are expected to remain dry. This pattern is anticipated to persist through 25 November.
Furthermore, the forecast for November 26 suggests that dry weather will return, with only select locations at Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya to experience light rainfall.
