GUWAHATI: A seven-year-old boy in Morigaon, Assam died after a tractor ran over him. As per sources, the pulp of the brain came out after the rear tire of the tractor collided with his head.

The kid, Aaswat Aalam was playing when the incident happened. After the incident, the locals gheraoed the area and the senior officials including the Circle Officer of Morigaon district had to intervene.
This was confirmed by the Officer in Charge (OC) Morabari Police Station Noni Nath. He further stated that houses were even burnt by the locals causing wide public unrest.
The locals further alleged that the illegal brick construction in the area has caused the increasing entry of tractors. They have demanded the ban of all tractor related activities on the village lanes.
