GUWAHATI: In a shocking incident, NPP candidate Abdul Aziz was attacked by a group of miscreants while he was campaigning in Samaguri of Kaliabor constituency for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The miscreants hurled stones at the cars in which Aziz and his troupe were travelling. Aziz's and his supporters were also injured in the pelting. The vehicles in which they were travelling were also damaged.
Meanwhile an FIR has been lodged by the Party and a report has been sent to the Election Commission as well.
