GUWAHATI: Barpeta Police apprehended one Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) leader from Raumari Pathar on October 16.
According to reports, the accused identified as Ajhar Uddin Ahmed, joined the terror outfit in the year 2013 and was one of the accused in the Burdhaman Blast.
Police later produced him at the CJM court in Barpeta and he was sent to 7 days police custody.
Police were on the lookout for Ajhar for quite a long time.
