GUWAHATI: Going in line with the Central government’s Unlock 4 guidelines, the Assam government has allowed inter-district bus transport services to resume operation on all seven days of the week starting from September 7.

"Public Transport will be allowed to operate from 7th September, 2020, with strict compliance of social distancing and other COVID protocols," states the latest guidelines issued by the government of Assam on September 4.
The fresh set of guidelines have been issued “after due consideration of the COVID situation as it prevails in the state of Assam and taking into consideration latest directives issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.”
