GUWAHATI: Assam Government has decided to acquire the Kolkata residence of Late Bhupen Hazarika for Rs 1 cr 65 lakh and preserve it.
The current owner of the residence is Janaik Dangi who is ready to sell the property to Assam Government.
Assam Government has approached Dangi several years ago for the acquisition of the property.
