GUWAHATI: Assam State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the taxes on Petrol and Diesel will be decreased by 50 Paisa.
Further, all electric vehicles registered in the name of women will be exempted from the registration fees.
Meanwhile, earlier today the Indian Oil Corporation reduced the price of petrol and diesel by 15 paise and 14 paise per litre respectively.
Currently in Guwahati a litre of Diesel costs Rs. 66.66 and Rs. 73.22 for petrol respectively.
