GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on the occasion of Bhai Dooj has declared local holiday in seven districts of the state on October 29.
The local holiday has been declared in Baksa, Chirang, Udalguri, Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, Tinsukia and Biswanath district.
“All state government offices and educational institutions will remain closed during this holiday,” stated an official release.
