GUWAHATI: The State Education Minister, while addressing a press conference from Janata Bhawan yesterday, June 7 announced that students will now receive free admissions for higher secondary to post graduate level for all streams due to the COVID-19 situation.
“#AssamEduCare Extremely pleased to share GOA has made ALL admissions - from HS upto PG level including medical, engineering, polytechnic for academic year 2020-21 - absolutely free. Under stress due to #COVID19, this shall be a big relief to families. All prospectus will be free,” the Minister tweeted to inform about the same.
Hidden costs of admission process such as magazine fee, prospectus fee, etc, will all be waived off and provided to students free of cost.
