Assam Govt announces change of office timings for Muslim employees

GUWAHATI: The government of Assam has allowed all the government employees belonging to Islam religion to leave office at 4:30 PM, thirty minutes prior to the scheduled time during the month of ‘Ramadan.’

However, this rule can only be applicable if the employees attend office thirty minutes prior to start time at 9 AM.

‘Ramadan’ this year begins on 6 May’ 2019.
