GUWAHATI: Following the incident of sub-inspector (SI) examination paper leak, the Assam Government has planned to cancel the appointments of already recruited persons if done through unfair means.
The state Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took stock of the matter and stated that “those who have already got the jobs resorting to unfair means will lose their jobs.” The government would look into the anomalies regarding the situation, added Sarma.
“Yes, earlier there were anomalies in the recruitment in Assam. We have reformed the system where we couldn’t punish the culprits,” said Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The Minister also promised that the examination for the SI post in Assam Police would be held within November 30.
