GUWAHATI: Hailakandi's district administration has lodged an FIR against the principal of Blue Flowers English Medium HS School for alleged violation of Children Rights and Juvenile Justice Act.
According to reports, children in school uniform resorted to road blockade in front of the school over poor condition of the road in the morning hours, leading to traffic snarls that caused inconvenience to motorists and pedestrians.

Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner, Keerthi Jalli also served a show-cause notice to the principal of the school to explain as to why stern action should not be initiated against him.
It should be mentioned that the school authorities have been given 48 hours of time to reply to the show cause failing to which stern action would be initiated that includes cancellation of permission to run the school.
