The election date for all the four constituencies of Kamrup Metro have been announced. The East Gauhati, West Gauhati, Dispur and Jalukbari constituencies of Assam will have elections on April 6 as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) statement.
A total of 40 constituencies of Assam, including the four Guwahati constituencies, shall go to poll together. The elections for Guwahati will be held in the third phase of Assam Elections 2021.
Assam Elections shall be held in three phases on March 27, April 1 and April 6.
