GUWAHATI: The District Commissioner and Co-District Commissioners held their first conference on Tuesday, March 11, under the chairmanship of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The meeting focused on strategising the implementation of several high-priority government initiatives.
Following the successful completion of the Assam budget and the launch of Advantage Assam 2.0, the outcomes of this conference are expected to play a crucial role in turning plans into impactful actions.

- Providing support for pregnant women in tea gardens
- Fast-tracking Jio tagging for Prime Minister Awas Yojana houses (PMAY)
- Ensuring the timely execution of Mission Bashundhara 3.0
- Streamlining Orunodoi, CM Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan and distribution of 5 lakh gamosa
Furthermore, the conference highlighted the effective execution of the U-Win platform and the ongoing efforts to eradicate tuberculosis in the region
