Assam District Commissioner Conference Prioritises Support For Pregnant Women In Tea Garden, PMAY, And Key Initiatives

 

GUWAHATI: The District Commissioner and Co-District Commissioners held their first conference on Tuesday, March 11, under the chairmanship of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The meeting focused on strategising the implementation of several high-priority government initiatives.

- Providing support for pregnant women in tea gardens
- Fast-tracking Jio tagging for Prime Minister Awas Yojana houses (PMAY)
- Ensuring the timely execution of Mission Bashundhara 3.0
- Streamlining Orunodoi, CM Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan and distribution of 5 lakh gamosa
