GUWAHATI: Two films- Bohag Bohag Mon and Lachit the Warrior- written and directed by Assam DIG (Admin) Police Parthasarathi Mahanta, will be screened at the Northeast Film Festival 2023.
The film festival will be held in Mumbai on March 25 and 26.
Mahanta's 'Hargila' recently won the Best Documentary Film award at the Jaipur International Film Festival. As per media reports, he also won best director for his animation documentary biopic Lachit, The Warrior.
Hargila has been screened at approximately seven film festivals, including the Mumbai Short Film Festival, Goa Film Festival, Delhi International Film Festival, Pune Film Festival, and Tagore International Film Festival.
In addition, Mahanta received the best direction award for his animation documentary biopic Lachit, The Warrior. Amupam Mahanta, on the other hand, won the best award for creative direction for the same film, as per media reports.
