GUWAHATI: Young Indian cricket player and Assam's brightest prospect, Riyan Parag, tore his left ligament during practice at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara.

He is currently on an intensive rehab program and the doctors have ruled out any reconstruction surgery given Riyan's young age. Riyan will miss two important matches because of the injury.
