GUWAHATI: Assam recorded 6 more COVID-19 deaths on Monday, August 10, taking the death toll to 151.
This was informed by state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

"Six more COVID patients succumbed to their infections~ Late Sanjib Kumar Bhuyan (52) of S'pur; Late Subir Kumar Das (70) of K'ganj; Late Salil Choudhury (58) of D'garh; Late Kali Santosh Bhattacharjee (68), Late Chandan Mahanta (26) & Late Ashok K Choudhury (65) of Kamrup M," tweeted Himanta Biswa Sarma, revealing the details of the deceased while expressing his grief over the deaths.
Meanwhile, Assam has reported a total of 61,737 cases of COVID-19 as on August 10.

Out of these, 43,586 persons have recovered from the virus. The number of active cases stands at 17,997.
