The positivity rate of COVID-19 cases in Assam is 4.86% at present with 48,161 positive COVID-19 cases reported so far. The death toll by the viral disease in Assam stands at 115.
Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Our recovery rate keeps on improving everyday, boosting our confidence in this fight against pandemic."

Meanwhile, 59,064 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours which is the maximum number of tests that have been conducted in a day so far in the state, of which 2,886 were identified to be positive.
