GUWAHATI: Assam recorded 2 more COVID-19 deaths on Saturday, October 24, taking the death toll to 902.

This was informed by state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
"Deeply saddened to share the demise of two #COVID19 patients today ~ Late Binan Chandra Das (64) of Kamrup Metro and Late Dhananjay Roy (61) of Goalpara. May God bless the bereaved families with enough strength to bear the pain. My condolences!" Sarma tweeted.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam stands at 2,03,967. Out of these, 1,82,791 persons have been cured and discharged while 20,271 cases are currently active.
