GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with the esteemed President Droupadi Murmu and extended an invitation to her on behalf of the people of Assam. The invitation was for the 50th Karbi Youth Festival (KYF) scheduled to take place in January 2024.
The Chief Minister emphasised that the festival holds great significance as it symbolises the celebration of Assam's ancient indigenous culture. Sarma highlighted that the presence of the President at the KYF would add to the richness of the cultural event.
