GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister (CM) Himanta Biswa Sarma's convoy met with an accident in Srijangram Town in the Bongaigaon district of Assam today, December 5.
The incident took place when Sarma's vehicle was parked on the roadside as well-wishers had queued up to meet the Assam CM.
At the time of filing this news report, it was learnt that an escort vehicle had hit another escort vehicle leading to the crash. However, no one was injured in the accident.
Due to the accident, the glass in front of an escort vehicle was smashed into smithereens.
