GUWAHATI: Chief Secretary to Assam Government, Kumar Sanjay Krishna and DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, interacting with media, informed that Assam would be following the new guidelines as issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs for lockdown 4.0.
As such curfew hours have now been changed from the earlier 6 pm-6 am to 7 pm-7 am.

Earlier, the Assam government had maintained different curfew timings from that of the central government. Further, offices and businesses were asked to close down at 5 pm so that people could reach home before the curfew hours.
However, in the fourth phase of the lockdown, Assam would be following curfew as per the MHA guidelines from 7 pm to 7 am.
