GUWAHATI: CBI officials on Wednesday arrested Deputy General Manager of ONGC, Sivasagar, A K Singh for accepting a bribe.
According to reports, Singh had asked for a bribe of Rs. 10,00,000 (Ten Lakhs) from a contractor for awarding him a contract worth Crores. However, the total amount of the contract and the bribe is yet to be confirmed.
CBI sleuths caught Singh red handed after the contractor filed a complaint to the CBI office in Guwahati and laid a trap for him in Sivasagar.
