GUWAHATI: Assam has approved ₹21.52 crore for projects under the SIDBI Cluster Development Fund. The initiative to promote balanced economic growth, focusing on empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the state.
Additionally, the Cabinet has sanctioned the allotment of land to the Tourism Department for the expansion and upgradation of Vivanta Guwahati. This step is intended to attract tourists and strengthen the region's hospitality sector.
The decisions were taken during the Cabinet meeting held on Sunday, March 9.
