GUWAHATI: Assam Government has approved a 25 percent hike in bus fare.
As per the new list, the minimum bus fare would be Rs 8 and the maximum would be Rs 27.

0-5 KM - Rs. 8
5-9 KM - Rs. 10.94
9-13 KM - Rs. 14.85
13-17 KM - Rs. 18.75
17-21 KM - Rs. 22.66
21-25 KM - Rs. 26.56
Long route buses - Rs. 1.33 (Per KM)
AC Bus - Rs. 1.54 KM (Per KM)
Hilly Route - Rs. 1.65 (Per KM)
Taxi (Local &Tourist) Petrol - Rs. 37.50 (First 1 KM) then will charge @ 20.31/- (Per KM)
Taxi (Local &Tourist) Diesel - Rs. 28.13 (First 1 KM) then will charge @ 12.50/-(Per KM)
Low Floor City Bus - Rs. 10.94 (First 5 KM)
