GUWAHATI: Priyadarshini Inman, a native of Assam, now residing in the United States of America (USA), was conferred with the President’s Volunteer Service Award 2019 by the White House in Washington DC.
She received the award for her outstanding contributions for the fellow Americans by ‘serving as a model of the American spirit’ and helping build the community and nation in general.
Born in Duliajan in Assam’s Dibrugarh district, Inman moved to USA in 2015 and started working with a manufacturing company -Morrisofa Global Inc. Since 2016, she has been working jointly with the Assam and Indian Associations.
She currently resides in Charlotte city in North Carolina and is actively involved with various volunteering and philanthropic works for the social well-being of the people.
