Femina Miss India 2015 finalist, the stunning Assamese model Rewati Chetri is all set to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Khatoon’.
Born in Haflong, Assam, Rewati graduated from Lumding College and is currently pursuing LLB at NEF Law College, Guwahati.
Rewati participated in Femina Miss India 2015 where she was a finalist, and went on to participate in the Senorita India pageant where she won the title of Senorita Miss International India 2016. She represented India at Miss International 2016 held in Tokyo, Japan. She has also been crowned Miss Asia at the World Miss University 2016 pageant, held in Beijing.
The model turned actor is making her Bollywood debut with the film Khatoon directed by Ram Ramesh Sharma where she will play the lead opposite Bigg Boss 6 contestant Santosh Shukla of 'Jai Ho' fame. Khatoon depicts the love story of a valiant 1962 Indo-China war Indian soldier.
Earlier, Rewati acted in Gangs of NorthEast - a bilingual film directed by Rupak Gogoi.
