GUWAHATI: The Kayakuchi Police on October 17 arrested the branch manager of UCO Bank in Barpeta district.
According to reports, the accused, identified as Alok Kumar, was involved in a loan scam.
Based on a statement of one Abdul Kadel who was earlier arrested in connection to the scam, Kumar was also arrested.
Reportedly, Kumar along with the broker was involved in Rs. 3 Crore KCC loan scam in UCO bank.
