GUWAHATI: The budget session of Assam Legislative Assembly began on February 2, 2020.
This time the state budget will be tabled in the second half of the day and will be tabled by Finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on March 6.
A new Bill on preserving historical monuments, sattras and other places which are not under ASI is likely to be tabled. The government may also bring a bill related to Assamese language for Class IX and X.
