Assam: Around Rs. 27 Lakh Fine Collected, 7447 Vehicles Detained as People Continue to Violate Lockdown

GUWAHATI: Amid the 21-day nationwide lockdown, Assam Police has reported 1202 incidents of violation, 642 cases reqistered and arrested 1338 people.

Meanwhile, 7447 vehicles were detained along with 17 country made boats and issued Rs. 26,73,900 as fine by the police after imposing challans till April 9.
