GUWAHATI: Lakhimpur police arrested arrested five persons dealing in counterfeit currencies on Sunday, October 20.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mijarul Islam, Jeherul Hoque Talukdar, Abdul Shaheed, Yusuf Ali and Kurban Ali.
Police officials recovered around Rs. 12 lakhs from their possession, along with one Hyundai I-20 car, five mobile phones and two motorcycles.
