Assam: 36 Km Long Flyover To Be Constructed In Kaziranga

GUWAHATI: A 36 km long and 11 metres wide bridge will soon be constructed in Kaziranga. This was discussed in a meeting in which Assam Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya was present.

According to reports, Mumbai's Wadia Techno Engineering Service Pvt. ltd will be preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and has been asked to complete the same by October. The company will charge around 3.76 crore for the DPR.

MLA of Khumtai,  , speaking to media said that the entire project will cost around Rs. 2625 crore and is scheduled to commence from 2020-21.

It should be noted that the bridge will also have a two-metre wide separate path for pedestrians and cyclists.
