GUWAHATI: Dudhnoi Police in Goalpara district arrested two teachers on Thursday, October 10 after students levelled allegations of sexual harassment against them.
Reportedly, the police received information from the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) about the incident following which they arrested the accused after investigation.
A case has been registered under sections 354/354 A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012.
Both the accused teachers have been suspended by the management and the court sent the duo to judicial custody.
