GUWAHATI: Surajit Chaudhary, accused in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) scam has been granted bail by the Special Judge Court.
Chaudhary was arrested by the Dibrugarh Police for allegedly being the ‘middleman who influenced a judicial officer to grant bail to some arrested accused.

He was allegedly involved in the APSC recruitment scam and was arrested on July 2018. His wife Pallavi Sarma Choudhury was arrested earlier for getting her job fraudulently and is also among the suspended Assam Civil Service (ACS) officers.
