G Plus has received several complaints from candidates who had appeared for the exam in April and expressed concerns over the delay in announcement of results by concerned authorities.

“I appeared for the exam in April last year. It is June now and it has been over 13 months. We have not received any information as to when the results will be declared,” said Amit Basak, an applicant.

Two more candidates namely Arup Rajbongshi and Rantu Chutia expressed their disappointment over the same issue.

To inquire about the matter, G Plus contacted the Public Relations Officer of APDCL, Priyom Dutta who said, “The exam results are to be announced by the Assam state government and not APDCL. So results are on hold currently.”

On being questioned why the entire process was taking so long, Dutta said, “There was a legal issue; a court case was going on. Some applicants were actually not allowed to sit for the exam, but now that case is resolved.”

There is much uncertainty about when results of the examination will be released by the government as applicants eagerly wait in anticipation of the same.
