GUWAHATI: The Assam government during its recent State Cabinet meeting on November 16, announced the observance of a local holiday on the occasion of Ali Aye Ligang in 10 districts in Assam.
This holiday will be observed in Dhemaji, North Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, Biswanath, Golaghat, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, and Majuli districts.
