In line for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for Atmanirbhar (self-reliant) India, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has announced the development of FAU-G which is touted as the Indian version of PUBG.
The game has been developed by nCore Games with mentorship from Akshay Kumar. The developers have announced that 20% of the net revenues from FAU-G will be donated towards a trust for India's brave heart soldiers.

Earlier, on September 2, the Union Ministry of Information and Technology, India put a ban on the popular gaming application PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) along with 117 other mobile applications.
