Air India Express Increases Flight Operations In Northeast

 

GUWAHATI: Air India Express has increased its flight operations from three major northeast destinations – Guwahati, Agartala, and Imphal – as part of its winter schedule expansion. The airline has ramped up operations to 106 weekly flights from Guwahati, up from 63 last winter.

From Guwahati, Air India Express offers direct connectivity to eight domestic destinations, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, and Kolkata, along with one-stop connectivity to 18 domestic and six international destinations.

In Imphal, weekly flights have risen to 34, an increase of 20 over the previous winter. Since adding Agartala as a station in September 2024, the airline has grown its weekly flights from 14 to 21, connecting Guwahati and Kolkata directly, along with one-stop access to 11 domestic destinations from Agartala.
