GUWAHATI: Agartala Bangalore Hamsafar Express was derailed by two wheels between Churaibari and Kalkalighat’s railway station on April 30 at around 8:15 AM.
According to the official statement of Railways, no causalities were reported and Police investigation is underway regarding the cause of derailment.

Senior officials of that division of Northeast Frontier Railways visited the spot with a relief train after receiving news of the incident, and safety and engineering officers under AGM have left for site from Headquarters.
It is to be mentioned that for the convenience of passengers, the train has been taken back to Churaibari and all needs of passengers are being attended to.
