Hastakshar, a unique art enterprise has put together a unique collection of art pieces at “Aesthetic Flavors of Assam” an art exhibition from November 1 – 5, 2017 at Pragjyoti ITA Centre Art Gallery, Machkhowa from 12-9 pm on a range of art that would form a kaleidoscope of the artists in Assam and the nature, landscape, people, emotions and the culture of the region.The 5 -day exhibition will feature works of veteran as well as emerging artists of the region.
The exhibition, organized by Hastakshar aims to bring forth the art and sculpture of the emerging and the veteran artists of Assam to whose work indulge in the various forms of traditional and contemporary art.
“This exhibition would provide visibility of the unique arts cape, diversity and creative talent of the artists of the region and help contemporary artists to create new and unexpected works,” said Sunit Jain, Director of Hastakshar Arts & Crafts.
15 artists will be featured in the exhibition, including Alpana Phukan, Debananda Ulup, Chandana Kalita, Dadul Caliha, Minakshi Borgohain, Nazneen Hafez, Pallavi Barooah, Shiv Prasad Marar, Pankhi Saikia Nath and many more.
The artworks will discover the conventional and the unconventional painting techniques along with unique display of sculptures. Hastakshar also has the art gallery at the city hotel Vivanta by Taj apart from the one at the LGBI Airport, Guwahati.
