GUWAHATI: Assam’s veteran actor Adil Hussain won five Best Actor awards for the movie ‘Footprints On Water’ at five different film festivals namely Mumbai, London, Cincinnati, Berlin and Ottawa.
Hussain won Best Actor for the movie at the UK Asian Film Festival London, Indo German Film Week Berlin, International Film Festival Of Cincinnati, Indian Film Festival Of Ottawa Cannada, Best Actor International At Jagran Film Festival India, as per official reports.
Adil Hussain took to X to put out, “Bragging a little about 5 Best Actor Awards for playing Raghu in #FootPrintsOnWater. Footprints on Water is a Malayalam drama directed by Nathalia Syam. The movie features stars Adil Hussain and Nimisha Sajayan in the main lead roles. The music was composed by Tuomas Kantelinen.
The film produced by Mohaan Nadaar has also won the Best Debut Film Winner at NYIFF 2023 along with winning Best Actor Making Waves Globally and Best Debut Stories Theme at UKAFF 2023.
