On Sunday night, Adil Hussain became the 1st Indian to win the Best Actor Award at the Norwegian National Awards in Haugesund, for his movie 'What Will People Say.'
The actor has time and again proved his talent in the film industry, be it of any genre or any language.
The movie 'What Will People Say' is set in Pakistan and Norway, and traces how a Pakistani immigrant family deals with their teenage daughter's affair with a local boy in Norway.
Hussain has earlier worked for commercial films like 'Life of Pi', 'English Vinglish', 'Hotel Salvation,' 'Parched' etc.
The actor has dedicated the award to the people of Goalpara, Assam. "My hometown, Goalpara, has inspired me to break free from the boundaries the suppress. If you have a passion for art, you can transcend boundaries," the actor said.
